How to get here

Students will be met at Gatwick airport by their boarding parents or other representative of the school. Students should exchange mobile phone numbers with boarding parents to make it easier to meet.

Using other airports around London involves long and expensive transfers which are particularly difficult for younger students. If your child is under 16, could you please contact us before you book any flights? If your nearest European airport doesn't have direct flights to Gatwick it is much better if you take your child to an airport in your home country which might be a few hours away by car. That way all the difficulties can be overcome on your home ground. For intercontinental flights sometimes you will have to use Heathrow. In this case you should budget for at least £75 taxi fares each way.

Students over 16 arriving at other airports and by Eurostar should make their way to East Grinstead railway station where they will be met. There are frequent direct trains from Victoria Station in London. It is easy to reach Victoria by public transport form other airports and stations.

If you would like your son or daughter to be picked up by taxi from any of the ports of entry into England we use a taxi firm that we trust.

By car:
Drive to Forest Row which is 3 miles (5 km) south of East Grinstead, on the A22. Your boarding family will be in touch with you to give final directions.
